So I went to B.C. for the weekend and decided to take advantage of the dollar conversion (and kickin' sales) at the snowboard store. I have sorta had my heart set on either a Burton T6 or Custom X 156 for this year. I have been riding a three year old Salomon Fastback 160 and want something shorter and more versitile... Anyhoo, I'm checking out the deals and desperately hugging the T6 thinking of things to sell so I can afford it (800 CAD!!! Ack!) when some LITTLE BOY says, "thats not a beginner board" and snickers. I just about clocked him over the head with the damn thing. All I could think of to say was, "it won't be so funny when I'm kicking your ass in the backcountry with this thing". Doi. I guess in B.C. being a girl means one cannot shred seriously. Is it the same everywhere?
